Chef Leslee Mathieson steps out of the usual box and developed a Paleo recipe book just for men. (Women can use it also but don't tell.)She opens with a simple cut-the-crap (my words) complete list of Yes Foods, the items you should eat, followed with a list of No Foods to cut from your diet, only a few NO Foods.She then provides 35 recipes of delicious dishes that men will love and can prepare.The list is divided in the main man items like Beef, Chicken, Seafood, Slow Cooker, Five Minutes Meals and Deserts.The beef section includes Steak and Eggs, Bangers and Mash, Steak and Mushrooms and Caveman Steak.For chicken you get my favorite Honey Lime Chicken Wings. For the international taste Chef Mathieson provides Chicken Fajitas Without the Fajita, Easy Curry Chicken and Tasty Tai Chicken. The seafood sections blows your mind with Salmon Crowned with Mushrooms and Poached Egg. An amazing Salmon Eggs Benny! That requires Hollandaise Sauce which in not Paleo pure. No Problem your Chef has you covered with any sauces used in this book you get the recipes for make-at-home Paleo perfect sauces and dips. I haven't mentioned all of her recipes are Paleo approved but believe me no one can tell the difference. Just one more thing about the seafood section she includes a Simple Seafood Soup. An most often over looked delicious meal. It is easy to make and the real deal.The Slow Cooker sections has recipes like Slow Beef and Coffee and Spicy Mustard Crockpot Chicken.She included a Rubs and Spices sections with all the men's favorites. Steak Spice, Hot Cajun Spice, Blackened Spice and Montego Bay Jerk.Deserts like Pecan Apple Crisp, Coffee Cup Cake and my favorite Fried Honey Bananas.I guess you can tell I liked this cookbook. It looked sort of ordinary except the Men's idea but as I read the recipes I was hooked. I am headed to the grocery market tomorrow to get some Bananas.A great selection of healthy delicious recipes.Recommended!

Even though I'm a female, I had to buy this book after I did the "Look Inside" feature. Leslee Mathieson has written a wonderful Paleo book again! Just looking through the Table of Contents made my mouth water so. I love the way she listed good foods to eat and also foods to avoid. To date I've only tried the Tasty Tai Chicken and the Simple Seafood Soup, which are both delicious. I've made the Seafood Soup several times because it's so, so fast and easy to make. Highly recommended!

With a Title like this I had to pick up this book By Antonio With a Title like this I had to pick up this book...And straight off Steak & Eggs were staring me in the face...Hmm good start..Then Bangers & Mash...This lady must know me !!!...Kidding aside, this is a well illustrated cook book with easy to make recipes and an added bonus for us MEN, 5 minutes dishes arealso available.A must for all Males, not just us single ones !!!
