A capsule without content: 23 pages total, zero info on actually creating a capsule wardrobe By Kindle Customer This piece reads like the a first year fashion students first draft of a term paper on the capsule wardrobe concept, written while watching daytime TV.The first 40%+ of this piece sells the considerable virtues of the capsule wardrobe concept. The sole actual capsule wardrobe-related content is one list of classic women's wardrobe items. A couple of pages include random bits of advice (pastels look good on with light or dark skin!), equally random references to concepts that underpin the capsule wardrobe concept (e.g., "find out your body type, and dress for it."), and vaguely allude to a few of the basic building blocks of the numerous, fully developed, systematic, specific and helpful systems other authors have developed for actually doing so (e.g., pare your wardrobe down to 40 items total, wear only these for 3 months). The rest recaps the virtues of the capsule wardrobe concept.Don't waste your money or time on this.

By Elidia Reed How to Create a Capsule Wardrobe will surely be something to look forward to by those people who have so many clothes that they don't know what to do with some of them already. This book was done with so much care that the discussions here were so comprehensible. It has made a pretty great explanation as to what a Capsule Wardrobe is, its perks, some of its rules, and it has made everything basically clear. But if there is one topic that I appreciate the most, it would be the one about "How to Avoid Buying What You Don’t Need." This is a smart purchase, this book is!
