Last week I was in Asheville, NC, and found out the Whole Foods Market there already serve "paleo coffee"!Here's another book full of carb-cutting strategies and paleo recipes for weight loss."Reducing the amount of carbohydrates you consume (and by the same token, replacing them with protein and healthy fats), has a number of positive effects that stack up to create a powerful fat burning environment in your body. Reducing your carb intake will reduce the spikes in blood sugar and insulin that promote fat storage, increase your body's insulin sensitivity, reduce appetite (which leads to a natural reduction in your calorie intake), and will overall just switch your body into 'fat burning mode'."I wish the author had better organized and categorized the recipes. Some colorful illustrations would have been helpful.I look forward to trying out the Lamb Mint Burgers. Besides that, this book breaks no new ground for me.My favorite paleo cookbook is still "Well Fed: Paleo Recipes For People Who Love To Eat."

By Angela Sorenson I had never heard of the Paleo diet until reading this book. I loved how detailed it was and the different options it gave you on individual recipes and your preferences. I also liked that it talked about the artificial sweeteners and how they help with insulin in diabetics as I'm a type 1 it was not something I was aware helps until I read this book. The recipes are well thought out and easy to put together my favorite one was the quick and easy frittata trust me it was way yummy.
