4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Must read! By Amazon Customer Adrian and Melody don’t have the “sweep you off your feet, live happily ever after” kind of love. Their relationship is messy and at times heartbreaking. The cast of characters is full of life, especially the main character of Adrian Hall, who is rude and full of himself. He is angry at the world and takes it out on the people around him, even his best friends. The reader will see him evolve, and even though at times he is downright despicable, in the end, you’ll root for him. Melody Stewart, on the other hand, is a great role model for women. She is kind, intelligent, and dreams of becoming a doctor. Her problem is that she falls for someone completely wrong for her, someone lusting after her and determined to get her into bed and then dump her. The language is adult, and some scenes are explicitly detailed, but for the more mature young adult reader it is a wonderful story of falling in love for the first time. For older readers it takes us back in time to high school and those pangs of first love.

You become mesmerized by the characters and enraptured with the story.An enjoyable read and will bring a smile to your face! Her characters are full of fire and ice. Such emotion that you feel like you are right there watching the story.
