I was looking for a sweet story of two people who saved themselves for each other. That is what the synopsis led you to believe. Instead, both the hero and the heroine became complete sluts in college. Where was this virginity promise again? I can read any modern romance novel now and get this story. I was looking for sweetness and innocence as two lovers discovered each other. This was just a ho-hum boring tale of promiscuity and I never even bothered finishing the book to get to the "happily ever after". DISAPPOINTMENT. Mediocrity. Emotionless and one dimensional.

Trying to fulfill their own needs and the expectations of others leads to the angst that only young inexperienced people feel. There are some moments of pain and revelation before they follow their true destiny.
