It's about second chances, a second chance love story. It's about healing old wounds, it's about choosing to love no matter the fear of it going bad. Having had a marriage that was as phony from the start, a wife whose focus is what she can get from him, how many millions of settlement and humiliate him at the same time, Robert Salinger, has closed off his heart, afraid to make any emotional connections with any woman.What I totally loved about Crystal was that she pushed Robert's limits without realizing it. Her personality is as big as Texas. She's easy to love and a couple times in this story my heart broke for her.. Robert doesn't know how to treat her right. He's never been lucky in love, he's so broken, he doesn't know how to.. But Crystal is a strong woman. She knows what she wants. She's a SASS, and I love that about her. She's fearless, doesn't hold back, she's tells it how it is,I love this story, it's heartwarming, you can't help root for Robert and Crystal to find their way to each other's heart. Though there would be a series FOLLOW THAT DRESS,, I love that this a stand alone and no cliffhanger. This is a must read!
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Liked the plot, not so much the characters By Carrie G. Robert Salinger needs to find a girlfriend. When he bumps in Crystal at the coffee shop she tells him off for being rude to her but he sees something in her and her attitude so he decides to approach her with a proposition to be his pretend girlfriend for a few weeks. After giving Crystal an offer she can’t refuse she agrees to the proposal but after some time together the two start to see sparks.Loved the idea of the story but wasn’t overly fond of either character. Crystal just seemed to have a major chip on her shoulder without really a reason why and Robert seemed to be a pompous jerk. The whole pretty woman type of story line with the older, rich man hiring the young woman to be his date though was likable enough to easily finish this story with it being a quick read. Just thought the characters could have used a bit better personalities to rate higher.Overall, liked the plot, not so much the characters.I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was an offbeat romance between two unlikely people who make the perfect odd couple. I laughed so much I fell out of my chair. The author worte it in a hot steamy romantic fashion that made a real page turner. She had me hooked from the start. An easy and fun read. I recommend it to anyone.
