Masterfully done By Rocco Santori Best writer in this domain; one of the best network consultants in the business, so he knows what he is talking about. I have attended a course he taught and have used several of his books for both A+ Network and Cisco. His materials are most informative, completely accurate and a joy to read. I transferred the documents to my Kindle (using the mobi extension document and usb) which makes it convenient to carry, bookmark and study at any time during my day. Accuracy is important to me and I find no other network author who is more accurate.

Some bundles will only provide the basic editions to appear as a great deal, while this actually is a great deal as well as the complete package. You really can't go wrong with this kit.NOTE: While the Review Guide is a softcover, the Deluxe Study Guide is a hardcover book. I point this out since the entire kit is labeled only as softcover. Personally, I love hardcover books, so was very happy to confirm that this package contains a hardcover edition of the Deluxe Study Guide, just like you would find the Deluxe Study Guide if you purchased it individually.

There is a huge curiosity factor here that caught me. It is a huge something that was left hanging at the end of Blind Ride. It’s the how is Jason going to perform as a secretly blind bull rider. I want to know this. That is not in And a Smile. And a Smile is Coke and Dillon’s story. Jase and Bax have small secondary roles where they have a little page time bringing Dillon in on helping them hide the blindness from the cameras and sponsors. So to answer the blind Jason on a bull question, it does not happen in this book.Who Coke and Dillion truly are as men, how they are written as characters, and how they are seen by their friends are so many different things that their characters become confusing. I read them as the really old crusty guy and the twink for so much of this book. Their friends see them a gramps and the guy who freaks everyone out. They actually are a bull fighter and a rodeo clown who have a few years in age between them and a whole lot of sexual chemistry. They love the work they do with the rodeo. These men are passionate about the careers they have chosen. They take their jobs very seriously.Going into And a Smile and expecting some conclusion on it or even some momentum in the direction of a conclusion and not receiving anything of that nature is a big disappointment. Getting to know Coke and seeing him get a happily ever after didn’t help to fill that void on what I was expecting. Dillon and Coke reading as so many different things made it difficult to ever get a good grasp on their character. By Angela S Goodrich I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.While you can probably get away with reading And a Smile as a standalone, I strongly recommend reading Blind Ride first because while this is Coke’s story, there is a lot of carryover from book one as Coke is still strongly involved with Jason’s recovery. It will also give you a much better frame of reference for many of Coke’s strong reactions toward incidents inside the ring and out. If you’ve read Blind Ride you’ll be happy to see that Jason and Andy have prominent roles in this installment in the series and we get to see how the guys are faring.Having met Coke in book one, I was looking forward to seeing the old cowboy (his characterization, not mine) get his chance at love. As it turns out, Dillon Walsh is perfect for him. The rodeo clown might be small in stature, but he’s big in heart, personality, and want, because he wants Coke something fierce. I loved that everything Coke saw as a negative about himself, like his age and his scars, were things that Dillon loved about him. I also enjoyed that Dillon had no problem pointing out to everyone, Coke included, that there were only a few years’ difference between them despite his youthful appearance. Thankfully Dillon is willing to put himself out there and make Coke aware of his attraction, shooting down all of Coke’s objections, and proving that Coke is not too old for love or seriously hot sex. Ride ‘em cowboy!There was a lot to love about And a Smile. Watching Coke and Dillon’s relationship grow was obviously the best part because the men complemented one another so well. They just fit. But on top of that, I enjoyed seeing how Dillon worked with Jason and how his personal circle of friends gave him an insight on how to work with Jason that Coke and Andy were missing because they were too close to the situation. It not only gave Coke and Andy some direction, but it also helped bolster Jason’s confidence in what he could accomplish. The misunderstanding that led to Coke thinking that Dillon had gotten tired of the old cowboy broke my heart – for both men. Thankfully, Dillon’s job as a rodeo clown and having to stare down a thousand pounds or more of ticked off bull meant he had no problem tracking down his heartbroken cowboy and making sure he heard the truth. Gotta love a determined man. And a Smile is another great installment of hard working men and steamy cowboy lovin’ in the Roughstock series and I am so glad I won’t have to wait too long to read the next book in the series, File Gumbo.~ Wicked Reads Review Team ~

By Sherry I was given this book by Inked Rainbow Reads for an honest review.In this book we are getting Dillon and Coke's story. I found Dillon to be extremely hyper and Coke was the one everyone turned to. I thought he was more mature and acted older.The story was good and you got to read more about the cowboys from Book 1, which I liked.At times I was a little confused with trying to figure out who was doing the talking in some of the conversations. It seemed a little hard to follow.All in all I liked the book a lot and look forward to reading more in this series.

About the Author Professor Shun-Qing Shen, an expert in the field of condensed matter physics, is distinguished for his research works on spintronics of semiconductors, quantum magnetism and orbital physics in transition metal oxides, and novel quantum states of condensed matters. He proposed the theory of  topological Anderson insulator, spin transverse force, resonant spin Hall effect and the theory of phase separation in colossal magnetoresistive (CMR) materials. He proved the existence of antiferromagnetic long-range order and off-diagonal long-range order in itinerant electron systems. Professor Shun-Qing Shen has been a professor of physics at The University of Hong Kong since July 2007. Professor Shen received his BS, MS, and PhD in theoretical physics from Fudan University in Shanghai. He was a postdoctorial fellow (1992 – 1995) in China Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CCAST), Beijing, Alexander von Humboldt fellow (1995 – 1997) in Max Planck Institute for Physics of Complex Systems, Dresden, Germany, and JSPS research fellow (1997) in Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. In December 1997 he joined Department of Physics, The University of Hong Kong. He was awarded Croucher Senior Research Fellowship (Croucher Prize) in 2010.

However, the terminology used is far from clear and some equations come out from nowhere. There are few mistakes in the equations and the physical explanations behind topological insulators are forgotten throughout a vast quantity of equations - however, this may be a reflex of some difficulty of the author to express himself in English. The lack of examples is another major shortcoming from a pedagogical point of view.

As an experimentalist, I can derive every formula in the book. I have a much deeper understanding on TI now. Strongly recommend to scientists who are not familiar with QFT.

Excellent reference book By dcspotter Whether you are an Electra fan, interested in airliners history or an airliner buff, this book will be a very good candidate for you to own. The book starts with a concise history of Lockheed to give the reader a good background to the aircraft and continues with the process of the aircraft design and certification. This part while containing considerable technical detail of the aircraft and engines, keeps the pace of the subject delivering enough information to maintain the concentration of the reader, whether the reader is a technical one or not. The following chapter continues with Electra's early service period which is followed by a well organized chapter dealing with the early problems, disasters and fixes to the aircraft. The period of the Electra II (or Super Electra) follows in the 4th chapter with a very good list of the airline operators while the other operators are listed in the 5th chapter. Ending the book is the detailed Hull Losses Chapter and the inevitable Conclusion. The book contains also four appendices with the first comparing the Electra with the turboprops of the time, the second contains the operators list while the third contains the complete production list. Unlike many other aviation reference books, this one features a nice bibliography in appendix 4. For those interested in airliner photos, this book has a very-very nice collection. The 50mm ramp sunny shots buff will be quite happy with the number of such shots taken from several top-notch photographers. The Author, David G. Powers, has done an outstanding and extremely thorough job in collecting a considerable amount of information, writing a easy-to-follow book and handsomely illustrating it. I'd say it is one of the best airliner references I have ever seen. I was impressed! The "Great Airliners Series", although small in numbers, generally includes very good airliner references, kudos to Jon Proctor - the Editor of the Series - for the achievements, and the "Lockheed 188 Electra" is definitely a book that will remain for me on the top shelf.

They could beat United's new, underpowered DC-8's From SEA to SFO by about 3 minutes - block to block. Shared this with a buddy of mine who flew them for nearly a year for Transamerica. A good introduction By Tommy McNicholas Decent overview of the product, but doesn't give any good great examples on how to tap into the massive amount of data the product collects. The examples on troubleshooting performance issues are fairly decent though. I'd recommend this book to anyone new to the product.

It means many things to many people and depending on your requirements can be pretty hard to navigate. vRealize Operations is a great solution for organizations using VMware technology to get a good idea of how their environment is performing and many other operational parameters. The solution is very broad however and for many can seem like an extremely complex environment to work in at first glance. This is where Jason's book provides much needed sanity and a simple pragmatic approach to the multitude of tasks that you might need to perform to adequately monitor and maintain your complex environment. While many books spend too much time in my opionion not getting to the point and really providing too much anciliary information Jason cuts to the chase and provides an immediate example of exactly what is required to be done for any particular task. This is a very easy to pick up and digest compact book for anyone who works on a VMware environment and has any interest or use for vRealize Operations.
