By Amazon Customer Myself being from where the story takes place, it was neat to read about the places I’ve personally been, roads I personally drive on, and people I remember (The Y-bridge reference made me teary). It is quite graphic! Maybe just a tad bit too excessive for my taste. But, the author does well describing the characters, actions, and feelings. A good read for women and has guy topics that even men would be interested in this series, as well. (You know - things like fast cars, cigars, scotch, and baseball! Even has cool techie stuff! And of course, lots of eh-hem and meeting that one perfect girl!) Massive cliffhanger! I can’t wait for Volume 2!

From the character names (Xavier Scott Trent V... seriously?) to the tired and ridiculous dialogue.It also suffers from poor location descriptions. The author obviously knew the areas he or she was writing about, yet forgot to successfully describe them to the readers. I felt like one location was as generic as the next.I guess if you just want some quick masturbatory material, this book might EVENTUALLY get you there if you can overlook the poor writing and dialogue that makes you want to punch the characters every time they open their mouths. (to speak, that is)Rife with freshman mistakes, and no editor in sight, I cannot recommend this book to anyone.
