From the dusty brothels of Colorado's boomtowns… to the glittering salons of London Society. Maggie McGregor was born as the daughter of an Ohio horse farmer but fate had a far different plan for her. Jackson Bajoliere taught Maggie to use her body for the erotic arts and use her head for business. But he could not hold her heart. Race King captured her heart and made her body sing. In the end, he helped her move on, and taught her to stand on her own two feet. Victor Brady made her laugh. He gave her a gift more precious than the heat and passion they shared. And Connor Grant, the Earl of Carrick made all her dreams come true... in and out of the bedroom. Maggie lives and loves to the fullest, becoming a force to be reckoned with and the mistress of a lasting dynasty.

Interesting story By lsb Found thus story interesting and made one one realize that women did not have many choices for jobs in the 19 th century that could support themselves. Maggie made her choices and being the woman she was - she went on to make a good life for herself. Was not happy with the ending. It just stopped. Mention was made at the start of the story about a family member finding her diary. Maybe there could have been a tie in at the end if this one. In all, a few type's and incorrect words but not enough to make it a distraction.

Maggie is a woman full of heart and soul and her journey was riveting...she reeled me in from the first page with her warmth and her vulnerability and her grit. I cried and cheered right along with her, page after page. I loved the other characters too, especially Bella. A hot read!
