There are simple, actionable steps included in each chapter. If you take those steps, you will see progress. Now I think I have read everything S.J. (still want to call him Steve) has written.The reason I took a star away is not the content, but the way it is put together. I bought this bundle even though it included three books I had already read. With no table of contents, I have to flip through those books to get to where I want to be. I have to wade through roughly 60% of the content to get to the 40% I bought the bundle for.A simple, linked table of contents would have fixed that.

Help for the chronic procrastinator By J.Pillgrem As a chronic procrastinator I have always had trouble getting through a book (let alone implement) all that is going to help me overcome this issue. This bundle of books by S.J. Scott is the first time I have not only read but implemented many of the suggestions. He keeps things short and precise. So much of it is common sense and when laid out for you as it is in these books it becomes much easier to digest. Bite size changes over a period of time keeps the overwhelm down and productivity up.

It is a reprint of the original edition. "Experiments with Alternate Currents of High Potential and High Frequency" which is a lecture Tesla presented at the Institution Of Electrical Engineers, London. Included with this lecture is an appendix on the "Transmission of Electric Energy Without Wires" by Nikola Tesla. If you want to understand how Tesla thought & worked; this book will allow you to gain real insight into his mind. The future he envisioned can largely be seen in our everyday lives. But this was over a hundred years ago!Nikola Tesla is a craftsman with an intimate relationship of his work and materials. He innately grasps the nature of electricity. Dubbed the "Electric Magician" by the public, he amazed even engineers & scientists of his day. Henry Ford & Thomas Edison did their best to see that Tesla was forgotten. Neither the Ford Foundation nor the Smithsonian can silence history. Ford & Edison were great entrepreneurs. Tesla was a true genius and humanitarian! This book stands as a testament to his brilliance.

26 of 29 people found the following review helpful. tesla is awesome incomprehensible visionary By Nancyhua The main thing I got out of this book is that Tesla is probably smarter than Einstein. Like a lot smarter. Like Tesla:Einstein::Einstein:me. Not being a genius myself may disqualify me from evaluating these people but I feel like he's on another level from the ordinary, run of the mill geniuses. Reading his writing is really different from reading Einstein or Feynman- it seems like their concerns are very local compared to Tesla's.Tesla impressed me with his consideration of "the problem of increasing human energy." He is genuinely and deeply concerned with increasing the energy of the human race and describes how all of his research fits into modifying various parts of this equation. For example he talks about increasing human mass (such as by ending world hunger) and describes various inventions of his that would do this. This guy had worked out a whole scheme of large scale improvements that would change the world in every way. His vision was astounding and at least 1 century ahead of its time. Apparently all of his work is coming from this perspective of advancing our race and he views himself as intimately connected with all humans, implying that he felt no need to propagate his own genes as long as the human race continued to grow because he viewed our united success as more satisfying than that of his own genes. This perspective is so different from my own that I can barely grasp this idea and it's one of the few things that I've read that made me really feel the gap between my mind and another's. I view the advancement of humanity as correlated to the advancement of my genes but not preferable to or a replacement for my own kids being awesome. I feel really lucky that someone as smart as Tesla feels benevolently towards humanity because we are all still benefiting from his consideration.I did not learn any science from reading this document. I asked my physicist friends about some of the wilder things that he wrote and they did not understand it. It may be that this version doesn't have the proper diagrams. In any case I wouldn't recommend reading this particular document if you want to learn science. Its main value is sort of a qualitative view of Tesla's mind and vision.

Diagrams missing By Prabuddha Ghosh Well, you cannot review Nikola Tesla's Work!But you cannot read this book without the sketches and diagrams being referred to in his experiments.This needs to be included to comprehend the master's works.It is the publishers lapse and a significant one!

Not only are the recipes delicious, but they are also fun to make. Last night my son and I spent hours making Sarma (stuffed grape leaves) with yogurt sauce. We bought all fresh ingredients from the local Fruit and Vegetable stand. After a couple of hours chopping, cooking and smelling we relished the eating of them. Oh my! So good. We recently made the Spinach Pie, and the the Tabouli salad. Fantastic. The cover is so pretty I keep this book on display in my kitchen.

There is background information on the foods and culture, and this makes it all the more interesting. I recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants to prepare wholesome food and step out of the rut of the usual American diet.

There are about 30 recipes and some of those, tho not many, are not armenian. I have purchased full cookbooks for the same price

However By Arturo Dominguez I have always wanted to go vegan, but its so hard to change your routine. Mainly because vegetables not always taste good. However, this book provides recipes for exquisite vegan food. I specially loved the eggplant lasagna with tofu. I could never cook something with eggplant that was actually worth eating, but this recipe was great. I even convinced my girlfriend to go vegan with me. The recipes were easy to follow. I have tried few recipes, and they all were delicious. I will try every single dish of this book. Thank you to Jessica Brooks to coming on with such an amazing mix of recipes.

These recipes will be great for people who like vegan foods. Even those who are not pure vegan can still use this book in case you want to prepare something health and delicious for your family or yourself. This is really a good cookbook to have! I liked it and I find it useful.
