This one had it right in the description so I knew what I was getting. In this book with its murder mystery though? I found it distracting. I think the book would've been just as good, if not better, if the sex scenes had been trimmed down or left out completely, particularly the first several. In addition, after reading the Jago Legacy series, the whole "immediate obsession and lust confused for love" was incredibly repetitive. I was reminded of the downside of reading a lot of books by the same author in a short amount of time...things that you otherwise may not realize became glaringly obvious as the author's habitual plot point. (don't really know how else to write that)What made me slow down and enjoy the book? The mythology and paranormal aspect. More of this and less of the time-suck sex and this had the makings of a great paranormal thriller. It was like reading two different books. One with random sexual encounters (much like a standard erotic short story - pure porn in literary form with zero substance), and one with an intriguing mystery that played on the amazing history of the Isle of Man. The quality of the latter made the prior feel very much like blah filler. It's unfortunate as I often like that blah filler when it makes no pretenses to be anything else.This book wrapped up almost everything (save the murderer of one) until the very last chapter when it decided it needed to be a sequel. Color me less than thrilled.

About the Author Mike Carver became Group Executive Director in charge of strategic planning. He was responsible for setting up the relationship with Honda and was awarded the OBE for services to the motor industry in 1986. Nick Seale joined Ford as an engineer, moving into finance. Later he returned to engineering, heading up the Rover Power Train under BMW. At Land Rover he ran concept engineering of future products. Anne Youngson started in sales and marketing at Longbridge, moving to Pirelli Tyres, but returned to work on Honda. She moved to project management for Land Rover and Rover and was the only woman at this level. Her final position was head of Land Rover Special Vehicles Operation.

Taylor You’re thrust straight into the story and I liked that. The characters are instantly relatable in an almost charming way. Which is difficult to do in an erotica story, so the author did well. Very well.The story moved swiftly, poetically even if I may be so bold. (You’ll get that when you read the story) There were a couple of spelling errors, literally two and neither hurt the story in an even minute manner. The author was aces with this story.The story being told from the professors point of view was huge. I think it aided the power and fluidity of the story a great deal.I learned and also discovered my new favorite word reading this story. ‘Somnambulist’. The medical definition is: ‘An abnormal condition of sleep in which motor acts (as walking) are performed.’ There, now you’ve learned something new too! Ain’t learning fun. ;)Back to the review…Usually I hate pauses…in the story. Like that one. But in this story they helped bring the emotions of the characters to life. There were a couple of moments when the pauses didn’t help, and were unnecessary, but those moments were over quickly and you were right back to reading and enjoying the story.Now to mention what I didn’t like before ending the story on a positive note.I’ll be honest. I didn’t like the professor constantly referring to Tomiko’s cock as her ‘little c**k’. That was weird, even a little creepy. But that’s my only complaint.The sex in this story…wow. It was brilliantly done. Perfectly written, inventive and just absolutely filthy which I loved.

A good writing that serves great characters descriptions and makes Transfer Student an enjoyable read By Adrien Sebbane To be honest I wanted to give the book 3.5 stars but it is not possible in Amazon rating system. That being said the writing is good !I love the description of the characters and their hesitations, they are realistic not just the idealized subjects of a fantasy. Thus you quickly feel close to them (or maybe just one of them depending on what you like). This important because it makes the development of the story better !The scene is hot. There is just that little thing that bothered me but it is just a personal matter probably most reader won't notice. I can be persnickety sometimes. Without that little thing I would have rated this book 4 out of 5.Anyway I would recommend this title without any hesitation if you are interested in transgender erotica.

In fact, I wish there were a whole lot more to this story. I would have liked some of the unspoken tension between, maybe in class or in meetings with colleagues. I would have loved to know where their relationship went from that first encounter. What conflict arises for them? How do they resolve it?This book was a small bite of a relationship, and the writing was excellent, hence five-stars. But seriously, I'd love to read the novel that sprouts from this shortie. Write it, Sakura.

Barnett I got to meet Trudy when she and her husband were traveling through on their "last" long drive from Texas to Arizona, when they were moving and stayed at my Airbnb in New Mexico. What a delightful person - as delightfully positive and energetic as this book full of family, life, love, faith --- and recipes! Couldn't wait to get to reading time to be able to get immersed in the stories of things we all face, and visiting kids and grandkids in Goofyville (Phoenix), where I also travel often to visit my own daughter and her family.

Designer Johnny Lee's elegant design compliments Dan Quarnstrom's dynamic imagery and his crisp heartfelt text. Quarnstrom's passion for the subject matter and thrill in the doing are apparent on every page. One can almost feel the ground shaking, the imagery overwhelms akin to an actual drag race. For the uninitiated and for the hot rod aficionado alike JOYRIDE/FLAT OUT is a history lesson; an ode to Kalifornia Kar Kulture (with a nod to Rock 'n Roll); and a testament to pencil milage and expert draughtsmanship. This book is a labor of love and a must have. Dan Quarnstrom knocked it out of the park in every way. Or, more to the point, if JOYRIDE/FLAT OUT had a set of wings man I know it could fly.

I'm trying to learn to draw, and copying these illustrations is a fast, enjoyable learning tool. But . . . simply thumbing through the book is great fun if you're a car-guy or a car-gal!

It a great re By Richard Winn Taylor II Dan Quanstrom is a rare talent. His understanding of the American Hot Rod culture and it's effect on the values and aesthetics of America is profound. He is one of the most talented designer/illustrators around. These drawings and final pieces are inked by hand. . . no computer work at all on the original drawings or inkings. His sense of humor, car dynamics, animation are all a part of the mix of this incredible book. It begins with his first drawings as a child and ends with the mind blowing original designs that are beyond cool.It a great read and fun as hell to look at. Great for that guy who loves cars and tech. Great Christmas pres.
